Full Job Description

This is a newly created role working with a well respected media/ production business. The client is looking to recruit an experience commercial controller to take ownership of the financial reporting and budgeting requirements.

This role will have a high level of commercial focus and will be a great addition to the team in providing value added reporting and detailed information on the financial drivers within the business.
As part of a dynamic and highly capable team you will be responsible for ensuring maximum commercial value by evaluating financial and logistical scenarios across numerous, national and international productions and projects. An ability to demonstrate strong business acumen, good negotiating skills, be acutely aware of the bottom line and be very adept at analysing figures. Excellent Excel skills essential

In addition you will be involved in developing new and existing income streams. Strong communication skills, highly articulate, dynamic, persuasive and confident you will demonstrate a track record on success in previous roles.

The successful candidate must have recent and relevant experience of working as an analyst/ commercial controller or accountant within live entertainment and events including TV / Film production, theatre, music, concerts or sporting events.
