Responsibilities / Accountabilities

 

  • Assist Fashion Producer on a daily basis.
  • Go into stores and select items for shoots.
  • Sample rotation; calling in samples from press offices and stores ensuring they’re returned back to them.
  • Recruiting candidates for work placements and over see their work during their time at This Morning.
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly and is tidy. Ordering office supplies, filing paper work etc..
  • Responsible for tidiness of stock room.
  • Be aware of latest fashions and trends from catwalk to celebrity.
  • Answering questions and enquiries from our viewers.
  • Creating mood boards for stories or seasonal trends.
  • Management of office diary.

Person specification

 

  • Previous experience assisting stylists on fashion shoots.
  • Experience of working in a fashion department for TV.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to produce high results.
  • Experience of dealing with press offices to call samples in.
  • Doing appointments at shops or press offices to select samples for shoots.
  • Proven ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Previous use of fashion database such as Fashion Monitor or Diary.
  • Ability to multi task and use initiative.
  • Experience in TV production, preferably live
  • An effective communicator, both in writing and verbally.
  • A high level of organisational and time management skills.
